For many people, considering counseling comes during a time of pain, loneliness, discouragement, shame, or confusion. Thank you for taking the time to consider this important first step in reaching out for support.  Whatever your individual story is, know that when you step into my office you will be met with warmth, honesty, and hope.  It is my job and honor to journey along side you to restore wholeness and joy to your life.  I look forward to connecting with you soon.

SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT:

To schedule an appointment or for general inquires, please send me an email, give me a call, or use the form provided on the Contact page.  I will return your email or phone call within one business day.

OUR FIRST SESSION:

Our first session serves as a time to get to know one another and discuss what brings you to therapy.  This time provides us both an opportunity to determine whether or not this is a good fit, and gives you an idea of what therapy will look like should you choose to move forward.

Please print, fill out, and bring in the New Client Intake, Disclosure Statement, and HIPAA Confidentiality forms located on the Forms & Fees page.  This will save us valuable time during your first session.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Whether you are seeking short term consultation or long-term care, my desire is to create a space that can hold whatever you may bring as a trusting therapeutic relationship is established between us.  I believe that the relationship between counselor and client is a huge part of successful therapy as healing occurs most powerfully within the relational realm.  After our initial session, I will ask if you would like to schedule another appointment - if you are looking for something different, I have local counselors that I refer to and hope that you would feel comfortable to seek those out.

"We are most hurt by relationships, and most healed in relationships."
